Enthusiastic members of HCA – Contra
Costa, the League of Women Voters, West Contra Costa, the AAUW, and
the El Cerrito Democratic Club gathered for six hours in front of
the El Cerrito Post Office this Thursday. They passed out nearly 350
flyers, and gathered 117 signatures. People who stopped to chat were
very interested and supportive, and very happy to hear about our legislation.
Many had no idea that it even existed!
