On Tuesday, September 19, the Oxnard OneCareNow Community Action Team (CAT) held its second event in three days! The CAT had just held an event the Saturday before, will be holding another on October 4, and a 365 event in 2007!

Oxnard is busy!

The CAT presented the film "The Health Care Solution: California OneCare" to twenty City of Oxnard employees and members of SEIU Local 998 on the lunch hour. The Local 998 Board hosted the event as a part of their monthly Membership Meeting. The Board offered a delicious lunch in a meeting room at the Oxnard Public Library.

The film presentation was followed by a Question and Answer session. SEIU's Local 998 representative, Danny Carrillo was in attendance also.

Everyone left with a flyer and well fed with nourishment and information!
